"PBF FUN"

Things to do with your PBF you probably shouldn’t consider
with your other favorite plane.

Red triangle Fuel it, start it and hand the transmitter to any of your friends at the field that have no experience with a PBF.  They will have fun learning and I promise you will have even more fun watching.
Red triangle PBF combat – no rules, no streamers, last one flying wins (just like real life only FUN)
Red triangle Figure 8 racing – Set up two poles on the field about 20 feet apart and race each other around them in a figure 8.
Red triangle We like to call it DANCING – just try to hover around your flying partner and see how well you can follow each other (sort of precision formation flying only without the precision).
Red triangle Limbo – how low can you go!
Red triangle Box the Box – Find a big cardboard box and see if you can land inside it, or better yet, hover into it and fly out.
Red triangle The spiral of death – climb high, cut the throttle, after the flop apply full rudder, and watch it spin.  See how low you can go before you (attempt) recovery.  Full down elevator and lots of throttle is the only way I know out, sometimes that doesn’t work.
Red triangle Climbing flat spin (inverted or upright).
Red triangle I am sure you can think of more.  Drop me an Email (mike@coolplane.com)
and give us all some more ideas.
